WIN! Double passes to see feelgood film ‘Good Fortune’ starring Keanu Reeves and Seth Rogan

Every now and then a feelgood film comes along that captures the zeitgeist and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy after watching it. Such is the effect left after seeing Good Fortune, starring Keanu Reeves as a well-meaning but fairly inept angel named Gabriel who meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker (Aziz Ansari) and a wealthy venture capitalist (Seth Rogen).

The film presents the notion that happiness is subjective – and that having heaps of wealth doesn’t necessarily bring absolute joy, while not having much can be better than having all the problems of having too much.

The film is also a bit of an ‘open letter’ to Silicon Valley, hopefully prompting it to make pay and working conditions fairer for staff who do as difficult a job gigging as Good Fortune‘s lead protagonist.

Good Fortune, which also stars the splendid Keke Palmer and Sandra Oh, is in cinemas today. See the trailer, below.
