THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

Say hello to Sanpellegrino Ciao! And enjoy a sprightly taste of Sicily

There’s something inherently appealing about the Italian approach to refreshment: keep it simple, make it delicious, and preferably enjoy it somewhere sunny. Sanpellegrino’s new Ciao! range brings that philosophy to Australia in three bright flavours – Lime, Blood Orange, and Peach.

Made with real fruit juice (of course), sparkling water and no added sugar, Ciao! is a lighter proposition than the brand’s classic Italian Sparkling Drinks, while still delivering plenty of flavour.

The Sicilian inspiration comes from the tradition of infusing sparkling water with fruit juice and adding just a touch of salt – a brilliant but unfussy ritual that gives the drinks a refreshing, balanced character.

Of the three, Lime feels particularly made for a hot Australian afternoon, while Blood Orange offers a deeper, more grown-up citrus hit. Peach is the softer, sweeter option, with an easy-drinking quality that makes it equally suited to a picnic, BBQ or afternoon in the sun.

Served straight from the chilled 330ml can or poured over ice, CIAO! is an uncomplicated pleasure. It’s not trying to be a cocktail or a complicated wellness concoction – just a sparkling, fruit-forward drink that brings a little Sicilian sunshine to the everyday.

My favourite? The Peach. It’s simply perfect for a BYO party, by the pool, or at the beach.
