Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein moved away from casual sportswear to present a total of 34 looks that were more avant-garde than everyday-beige. Chalk-washed silk halter dresses and indigo-washed silk shifts were juxtaposed with edgy looking cropped pants and sharp panel pieces. Doing away with the traditional catwalk, Klein had his models strut down several aisles of a huge hall so that guests could each get a nice, close view. Still, there were so many invited that two shows had to be hosted, both leaving audiences impressed.
