A cooler blend of culture

Pierrots set to impress at this year’s Hair Expo

There’s are three key reasons clients keep going back to Pierrots Hair Salons in Mount Lawley and Kalamunda – exceptional quality in hair cutting, colouring and styling. The results speak for themselves. As do the awards that keep rolling in. Last year, Pierrots won the National Aveda Colour Harmony Award, the Belmont Business Marketing Award, Regional Chamber of Commerce Award, and celebrated their 31-year mark in the hair industry – all proving (and pardon the pun) that they’ve certainly got a good head on their shoulders. In 2014, the accolades are sure to continue, with Pierrots a favourite to win at Hair Expo, on this weekend in Sydney. Cream has been strongly affiliated with Hair Expos in the past, having been a major media sponsor and judge several years running, so we can spot sheer talent a mile away, and Pierrots’ shining star Julia Cockman certainly has it. Simply study her innovative styles above – entered into the category of New Creative Force – and we’re sure you’ll agree that if Pierrots don’t head back home with a trophy under their arm this year, there might be something wrong with them judges. Also a strong contender in the Awards is the salon’s irrepressible Julie Jeffery, whose entries into this year’s Avant Garde category (examples below) are sure to stand out amid the competition. Fingers crossed, then. But then since when did sheer talent need luck?  Lisa Andrews

Pierrots Salons are situated at 9 / 755 Beaufort Street, Mt Lawley (bookings and enquiries on 08 9371 8210) and at 23 Haynes St, Kalamunda (08 9293 4469).
