‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’: first pic of Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey

Well, finally a first pic from the hotly anticipated film adaptation of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ has been issued to the media, and therefore to you lovely readers (there it is above).

After much deliberation, uhm-ing and ah-ing over who should play distinguished-but-kinky gent Christian Grey, the plum role went to handsome Jamie Dornan of ‘The Fall’ and ‘Once Upon A Time’ fame.

Spunky Dornan will be joined onscreen by Dakota Johnson (the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson), who will of course play Anastasia Steele.

The film, which is scheduled for release in February 2015 in Australia, is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti alongside E L James, the author of the number one bestselling book on which the film is based.

To date, Fifty Shades Of Grey has sold over 70 million copies worldwide in e-book and print while having been translated in 50 languages since its release.
