Gisele the new face of Chanel No. 5

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen will be the next face for Chanel No. 5’s advertising, it has been revealed today.

The former Victoria’s secret muse posted a preview of the new Chanel campaign on her Instagram account, pictured laying back in an oversized version of the fragrance’s #5 logo.

The logo itself is dressed up in ‘vanity’ lights, already bringing to mind Aussie director Baz Luhmann’s style of artistic direction – akin to when he directed Nicole Kidman in a Chanel No. 5 ad campaign 10 years ago. Indeed Luhmann has been lured in to direct the new ads.

Said Bunchen via her Twitter account: “I’m honoured to be the face of Chanel No. 5. What an amazing experience it was to work with film director @BazLuhrmann and @CHANELofficial team.”
