Social: Climaxx on New Year’s Eve & Morning
It was only a month or so ago when the last Climaxx warehouse party was hosted but punters enjoyed it so much, organisers Glen Taylor and Craig Grigson decided to put on a big gig for New Year’s Eve in Perth City.
While it may not have been as huge in crowd-size as the previous soiree (what with New Years providing a plethora of options for party-goers), Climaxx once again provided a great escape for Perth’s queer community – along with brilliant decor, fair-priced drinks, and most importantly a queer-friendly atmosphere where music-lovers could dance the hours away pre- and post-midnight.
DJ-ing for a greater part of the evening was Sydney mix-master DJ Dirty Nelly, alongside a beaut set by DJ Hello Sailor.
