Lacroix, sweetie, Lacroix: Design house unveils its colourful wallpaper collection

Designers trekking into homeware and interiors territory is nothing new. From Versace to Hermes to Jean Paul Gaultier for Target, it seems every top-tier fashion brand has slapped its name onto a bed-throw, ashtray, cheeseboard even.

But to create your own designer wallpaper? Not many can brag about that.

Christian Lacroix can, though, with the fashion house this week unveiling its very colourful wallpaper collection.

The design inspirations range from Provencal traditions to gypsy-style, along with patterns reminiscent of the flamboyant haute couture scenes of Paris and London during the swinging ’60s.

We’re guessing the likes of Pucci and Gucci are fairly peeved they didn’t think of it first…  Antonino Tati
