Foxtel brings all of Star Wars to the small screen
For fans of George Lucas’s blockbuster franchise, the phrase ‘too much of a good thing’ has no meaning whatsoever. With this in mind, the news that Foxtel will release a dedicated Star Wars pop-up channel is sure to be greeted by a Chewie-like roar of approval.
From September 30 to October 3, Foxtel Movies and Foxtel Platinum subscribers will be able to rejoin the Rebels in their struggles against the Empire. The epic movie marathon will allow viewers to experience the saga as intended, in chronological episode order, back-to-back, starting with Phantom Menace all the way through to the most recent installment, 2016’s The Force Awakens.
Following on from the massive success of the Star Trek pop-up channel earlier this year, there is galactic-sized anticipation surrounding this special screening of the world’s biggest science-fiction movie franchise.

Foxtel Movies’ Star Wars will be available in HD on channel 400, from September 30 to October 3rd.
