Tragic ending for ‘Glee’ star

Mark Salling, the actor who played Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman in Glee, has been found dead, presumably from suicide. Salling was just 35.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office is unable to provide details of Salling’s death as his next-of-kin have yet to be identified.

In 2015, Salling was arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography. LAPD officers raided his home and arrested him after discovering more than 50,000 images of child pornography featuring children aged three to five years. An ex-girlfriend of Salling’s tipped off the police after Salling had showed her some of the images.

Last year, Salling pleaded guilty to possession of the images.

The actor was facing a four-to-seven-year prison sentence, and would have been placed on the sex offender’s registry due to the charges. He was due to be sentenced next month.  Lisa Andrews
