A pocket full of posing…
Who says print is dead? While it’s true most of what we need to read is readily available online – from our daily news feeds to GPS mapping – there does come a time when good old-fashioned hardcopy comes in handy: like when your internet is suddenly disconnected.
Enter these cool pocket guides dubbed Half-Full Adventure Maps. Not only do these feature full maps of capital cities such as Melbourne, San Francisco, Tokyo and London, but each is packed with itineraries: what to do where and when in the big smoke.
Perfectly sized to fit in your pocket, the information is conveniently compartmentalised into cool geographic locales. For example, Melbourne is divvied up into CBD, North Melbourne (including Carlton and Fitzroy), and South of Melbourne.
Plus there are ‘score’ cards and checklists included so that (a) you know what to not bother doing next time you’re in town, and (b) you can brag to your mates about all that stuff you did do. Antonino Tati
Half-Full Adventure Maps are published by Hardie Grant, available from good bookstores, both physical and online.
