The latest news on American Horror Story: Season 8
More news has been revealed about American Horror Story Season 8.
First up, the series subtitle will be Apocalypse, so we can expect all things to get darker, scarier and, yes, even more twisted.
‘Apocalypse’ will be a crossover between the first season’s ‘Murder House’ and the third season’s ‘Coven’, which means bitches, bastards and witches are sure to collide.
Secondly, two AHS stalwarts, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, will be taking turns directing a couple of episides this season. Both will also star throughout the season, along with veteran Kathy Bates.
Another star who is set to return after a long hiatus from the series is Jessica Lange who shone in Seasons One to Four, earning four Emmy nominations in the process and winning two. Lange will reprise her role as Constance Langdon (and all I can say is bring on the Pucci dresses and cocktail cigarettes, baby!).
Perth-born actor Cody Fern will also join the cast, playing Michael Langdon, the bastard child of Tate Langdon and Vivien Harmon, who was born during the events of Season One: Murder House. It was hinted in the finale of Murder House that Michael is indeed the Antichrist, hence Cody is stepping into some rather large (and evil) shoes. You might also recall Cody played murder victim David Madson in Ryan Murphy’s crime series, The Assassination of Gianni Versace and got plenty of praise for his performance.

Perth actor Cody Fern joins the ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ cast.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse will be a crossover between the first season’s Murder House storyline and the third season’s Coven storyline. Which means bitches, bastards and witches are sure to collide. The poster art, top of story, certainly hints at the birth of said bastard child.
In further news, following guarantee that there will be an Amercian Horror Story Season 9 comes confirmation of a Season 10, which means oh-so much more to look forward to for all us fans. Antonino Tati
‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ is scheduled to air September 12, 2018.
