Bryan Ferry tour dates announced
He’s one of the greatest singers to come out of the 1970s post-punk / new wave period. In our book, anyway. And he’s definitely the most stylish rock/pop/post-punk/new wave star there’s been. Bryan Ferry is his name, and we’re thrilled to hear he’s on his way to Australia as part of his extensive world tour.
Frontier Touring has just announced Bryan Ferry will perform shows in Australia in February and March, with tickets going on sale Monday 29 October via frontiertouring.com/bryanferry.
Ferry will perform two headline dates: Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Tuesday 26 February, and Sydney’s ICC Sydney Theatre on Friday 1 March.
He’ll also headline three outdoor ‘A Day on the Green shows’, with extra-special guests I’m Talking, Died Pretty and Models.
If you need a reminder of the brilliance of this man, think of the songs ‘Let’s Stick Together’, ‘Love Is The Drug’, ‘Slave To Love’, ‘Avalon’, ‘More Than This’, ‘Jealous Guy’, ‘Don’t Stop The Dance’… Do we need to go on?
