Ready for another fix of ‘Breaking Bad? How about a full-length feature?
First came uber-successful TV series Breaking Bad. Then came its semi-successful prequel Better Call Saul. Now comes news that a Breaking Bad movie is in the works.
Series creator Vince Gilligan is working on a film with connections to the popular series and has revealed it will be at least two hours in length yet he won’t say if any of the TV series’ regulars would feature (of course, they’d be crazy not to take up the offer).
A logline of the film has been leaked though, stating that it “tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom”, as has the working title of Greenbriar.
Gilligan won’t say yet whether the film will be distributed through cinemas or via television but either way you can start stocking up on the munchies now.
