Perth set to enjoy UberPool service soon with riders getting to save up to 55% per ride
It’s been a while coming but in the next couple of weeks, finally, Perth travellers will have the option of sharing their Uber rides, and save a pretty penny in doing so.
Perth will be the third city in Australia, behind Sydney and Melbourne, to introduce UberPool as an additional feature to the Uber app.
Uber announced today that it will be trialling its UberPool service in selected Perth suburbs for six months, starting late July.
Considered Australia’s most affordable Uber ride, UberPool matches travellers with others heading their way (but never out of their way) so that both parties pitch in and save. Even better news is that travellers get to save up to 55% per ride.
The analysis in the latest test-run will decide whether UberPool will be provided full-time to Perth customers.
