Laneway Festival has had quite the checkered history. Having launched in 2005 as St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Melbourne and beginning as a predominantly indie music event, it has since dropped the ‘St. Jermoe’s’ bit and features a billing that boasts a broader array of artists, from alternative to crossover pop.
This year’s billing is probably one of the most eclectic yet, featuring the likes of The 1975, Charli XCX, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Earl Sweatshirt, and a whole lot more.
The Laneway Festival hits Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Fremantle over the January / February 2020 period, with pre-sale tickets available from Tuesday 24 September (you can register here).
Tickets to general public will be available from Thursday 26 September.
But get in quick, because with a lineup like this (see full artists billed so far), tickets are sure to go quick.
Oh, and keep an eye out for Cream‘s interview with Charli XCX being published soon.
