Final season of ‘Will & Grace’ will premiere October 25

Groundbreaking comedy series Will & Grace will see its final season premiering on Stan in Australia on October 25 – the same day as the US.

Sadly for fans, Will & Grace this will absolutely be the last season of the famed sitcom, but good news is it will comprise of 18 bumper episodes.

While ratings have not been the best for the show – losing nearly half its viewers in the important 18-49 demographic last season – it still had its fair share of followers in the competitive stream TV landscape once international viewing was tallied up.

“[The final season] will be topical, but not really as far as the Trump stuff goes.”

Series co-creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan said there will be “more character” and “less presidential” humour going into storylines.

“It will be topical, but not really as far as the Trump stuff goes,” Kohan told The Post, US.  “There’s so much craziness happening and the best stuff is already being done on a nightly basis [on talk shows]. We can’t match them for topicality.”

The usual cast will all feature in the final season, this being Eric McCormack as Will, Debra Messing as Grace, Megan Mullally as Karen, and Sean Hayes as Jack, plus a few surprise guests, I’m sure.
