And it was all Yello… Artisan food & beverage festival to take over Perth’s State Buildings
Over the course of 140 years, the State Buildings in Perth have been adopted for use as public offices, police court, treasury, premier’s office, even a cellblock. Currently, they play host to all manner of city businesses, with plenty of wining and dining, too.
This weekend, architecture, artisan foods and great artistry will all come together as the State Buildings get overtaken by the ‘Yello Festival’.
At Yello, guests can get a taste of new and classic beverages from the crafty likes of Four Pillars, Cheeky Monkey, Funk Cider, Nail and Feral, and classics such as Vasse Felix and Leeuwin Estate, while also tickling their taste buds via a fiesta of fine international cuisine.
There’ll also be live art demonstrations and supreme sounds including fresh jazz from out of WAAPA, music by the Afro-Peruvian Jazz Group, and five-piece Bavarian-style horn ensemble, Oompah.
It’s all happening at The State Buildings, located in the historic heart of Perth CBD.
Tickets are $45 and include 10 complimentary beverage tastings, which we think is very, very good value.
Bottoms up, then!
