Victoria Beckham sues and settles over the use of VB trademark by a Sydney brand
It seems Victoria Beckham will stop at nothing to maintain relevance, even in times of Covid.
This week, the former Spice Girl has sued a Sydney-based skincare company over the use of the letters VB on their beauty product – and Vic Beck has won.
Beckham is no stranger to the courts; she once took legal action against a fast food business in England saying they used her likeness in an ad that claimed its pizza crusts were thinner than her…
Beckham’s legal team made the argument that she had been using her own VB mark for two years now, while the prosecutors also claimed the use of a “slim brunette” on VB Skinlab’s website was also an allusion to Beckam’s appearance.
The parties have turned to terms of settlement and there were no orders made regarding costs.
