No, KFC isn’t releasing its own gaming console despite this slick advert…

Fresh after the design reveal of Sony’s PlayStation 5, fast food chain KFC hopped onto the gaming bandwagon yesterday and released a video showing off its new ‘KFConsole’.

While the still images – courtesy of ‘KFC Gaming’ – looked like the product may have been a genuine thing,  turns out there is no official such hardware coming from the people who brought you the popcorn chicken bucket and popular ‘One Box’.

Nonetheless, the ‘KFConsole’ promised to ‘power your hunger’ – and high-tech tastes – with 120 frames per second and 4K playback features. 

The best component was its “chicken chamber” which kind of looks like the air-fryer in the Cream office kitchen.

KFC says fast food fans will have to wait until December to get their hands on the ‘hottest console’ (aka: big black bucket) available.
