KitKat to open a boutique cafe in Sydney after the success of its Melbourne outlet
KitKat is getting set to open its second boutique cafe/store on July 6 in Sydney – the first having opened in Melbourne in 2016.
The new KitKat store will offer chocolate lovers a range of personalised and premium chocolate experiences.
General Manager of Nestlé Confectionery, Chris O’Donnell, said the KitKat Chocolatory at Mid City Sydney would build on the success of the Melbourne boutique.
MidCity is located in the heart of Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall and so the KitKat one-stop shop ought to provide great relief from all that shopping.
In the centre of the KitKat Chocolatory will be a ‘Create Your Break’ station that offers guests the opportunity to design their own eight-finger KitKat which will then be created in the boutique.
There’s a hitch, though: the minimum wait time for the ‘Create Your Break’ experience is 90 minutes. And that’s a fairly lengthy break – be it from work or shopping.
