Ogre porn actor Ron Jeremy faces charges of rape and a prison sentence of up to 250 years
Renowned porn star Ron Jeremy appeared in court yesterday on charges of rape and sexual assault, after several allegations were made by up to 20 women.
Jeremy – whose full name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt – has been charged with raping three women and sexually assaulting another in incidents between 2014 and 2019.
The 67-year-old defendant faces up to 250 years imprisonment if convicted as charged.
The porn star – who was once labelled one of the most hideous men in the adult film industry – this week pleaded not guilty to a further 20 charges of sexual assault.
The new charges involve 13 women including a 15-year-old-girl.
Five of the charges are on counts of forcible rape, with incidents dating back to 2004, and the most recent incident having occurred on January 1st this year.
Jeremy not only starred in porn, he would go on to create his own films, as well as work on the side as a stand-up comedian, delivering crude jokes in seedy bars.
More than a dozen women have publicly accused Jeremy of sexual assault over the years, some women reporting they were molested at fan conventions where Jeremy would go further than grope his victims, often inserting his fingers into their private parts without their consent.
Jeremy currently denies all allegations of sexual misconduct and rape but remains in jail on US$6.6 million bail.
