Another ‘Mind Warp Pavilion’ event set to pay tribute to David Bowie in January ’21

The ‘Mind Warp Pavilion’ is an annual tribute to the late, great David Bowie, performed by an array of talented musicians and hosted every January in Perth.
This year’s event (the fifth to date) is being held on January 9, nestled on the calendar between Bowie’s birthday (January 8) and the date of his passing (the 10th).
Three supergroups will be taking part in MWP5, each having a track record in making brill original music live, and now ready to pay tribute to Bowie’s lengthy discography.
Past Mind Warp Pavilion events have featured the likes of Timothy Nelson (we still adore his studio version of Bowie’s Girl Loves Me and hope he’s on stage at the next MWP to deliver it live), Bob Gordon, Natasha Shanks, Denise DeMarchi, Vincent Buchanan of Hideous Sun Demon, and Jake England of The Caballeros.
See a video example of the shenanigans, below.
Along with live music, there’ll be roving art and plenty of fabulous dress-ups. Indeed, dressing up is not mandatory, but you know Bowie would love it if you do.
