Flash sales have become part and parcel of the online shopping experience with customers now
often requesting practically demanding discounts on quality brands.
New to the Australian market is OnTheList: a members-only site that offers flash sales of premium brands.
So far popular in the massive Southeast Asian market – Singaporeans and Hong Kong folk have flocked to OnTheList to access luxury labels – the business is now making its way into the hearts and purse strings of Australian fashionistas.
Australia’s OnTheList launches this week and while the initial sale for premium members offered only one label to shop for – this being prestigious brand, Longchamp – I did find stacks of beautiful items up for grabs.
The Le Pliage Club Shoulder Bag in Cactus Green (with tons of other colours to choose from, by the way) is on sale for AUD$102.50, down from $205 while the stunning document bag, below is $87.50, down from $175.
In the end, I opted for a Longchamp passport wallet and luggage tag (to be ready, set and stylish for when those borders drop) and a gorgeous floral print scarf for my Mum, which I’m now tempted to keep for myself. I’ll come back and shop for Mum later!
OnTheList Australia is promising to offer an average of 75% off on designer labels, with Australian customers invited to sign up for free to claim exclusive deals.
Set to feature in coming months are some of the world’s most sought-after luxury brands including Armani, Furla, Jimmy Choo, Le Creuset, Mulberry and Foreo, to name a few.
Whether the Australian version of OnTheList will offer “birthday surprises” and similar incentives to those offered in Singapore and Hong Kong will remain to be seen, but so far I’ve found the experience to be a very special one indeed.
Bring on the sales.
