Fab music and fun in the sun at FOTSUN

It’s a fun acronym FOTSUN. Stands for Festival of the Sun. And it’s an even funner festival.
The original Aussie BYO festival, FOTSUN is back to bring fans more good times and great music, taking place in Autumn of 2022.
To be held from Thursday 19 May to Saturday 21 May at Port Macquarie Breakwall Park, there’s a lot to make noise about with a lineup that includes fab indie acts including Hermitude, Middle Kids, San Cisco, Ruby Fields, Concrete Surfers and more, more, more!
The 2022 lineup is a sort of expansion of the event that was supposed to happen last year, with Festival Director Simon Luke saying: “This will be FOTSUN’s 17th run, and we can’t wait to share the new and exciting things we have happening at our boutique BYO festival. Moving our 2021 edition to May 2022 means we can have full capacity and deliver an even better event to ticketholders, as well as release more for our punters to attend in a safe environment.”
The BYO bit may sound novel to you, but what it means is that punters can, yes, bring their own alcohol. But there are limitations: no glass, no beer bongs, and no kegs allowed. In fact, no unreasonable amounts of alcohol – because that would just make you a bogan.

Fingers crossed this whole Omicron thing blows over so then we can all have a little fun in the sun.
