Synthony is getting bigger and better; announces more gigs around the country… and a Vegas stint!

Club music has always lent itself well to the art of the remix. Over the past few years, though, it’s been bold enough to venture into more ‘posh’ territory, with synth-laden tunes being given the classic symphonic treatment.

‘Synthony’ is now a national music phenomenon, a show where classic club tracks are reimagined by a full 60-piece orchestra and vocals sung by special guests. The event has toured Australia a couple of times and always proves popular with the punters.

Brisbane is next up for the Synthony tour, taking place at Riverstage on May 28, then moving on to Perth on June 17; Wollongong June 24; Newcastle July 22; Adelaide August 5; Cockatoo Island October 29; and finally Hobart on November 19.

The super-charged and energetic shows will feature some of the biggest dance anthems from icons such as Avicii, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Moby and Basement Jaxx – all backed with the full might of a 60+ piece Synthony Orchestra. 

With an epic backdrops featuring visuals and lasers, plus a state-of-the-art sound system, Synthony promises to continue the dance-goes-classic magic that is an uplifting, hands-in-the-air party like no other. 

Oh, and Synthony is getting so big, it’s about to sign on for a Vegas residency, too.
