Oz Comic-Con Melbourne announce a slew of indie stars to the June 11/12 event
Covid really put a spanner in the works when it came to a host of conventions. Among many, one in particular, Oz Comic-Con, has been put on hold since 2019. That means we’ve missed out on two years of meeting and greeting our favourite stars from the worlds of comic books, gaming, sci-fi and other awesome fields.
The good news is Oz Comic-Con is back, welcoming the return of international guests to the Melbourne International Conference and Exhibition Centre over the weekend of June 11-12.

Kevin Alejandro of ‘Lucifer’ fame is among the many international guests joining local favourites at this year’s Oz Comic-Con event.
Confirmed international guests include Aimee Garcia (Lucifer, Dexter) and Kevin Alejandro (Lucifer, True Blood) along with Callan McAuliffe (The Walking Dead) and Remy Hii (Spiderman: Far From Home, Crazy Rich Asians), with even more fantastic talent to be announced.
Oz Comic-Con is also teaming up with Animaga this year, making the event even more special with the return of the Australian Championships of Cosplay. And you know how much we love our dress-ups!
There’s also a major hair and makeup competition including SFX makeup and plenty of wild wig styling.
The cosplay parades, including a kids cosplay parade, will once again be a highlight of Comic-Con, and there’ll be plenty of photographic opportunities for you to Insta till your heart’s content.
