Nothing excites us more than films on David Bowie. And, heck, the new film by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Brett Morgen (director of Cobain: Montage of Heck) is not, I repeat, not a simple documentary.
Featuring never-before-seen concert footage, Moonage Daydream is an immersive cinematic experience, unlike anything on celluloid before it.
An audio-visual space odyssey that not only illuminates the enigmatic legacy of David Bowie but also serves as a guide to living a fulfilling and meaningful life in the 21st Century, this film is a must-see for Bowie fans and lovers of music in general.
I’ll reiterate once more: ‘Moonage Daydream’ is not a documentary, but rather a genre-defying cinematic experience based on one of the most iconic, global rock stars of all time, and it’s destined to become one of the defining cultural moments of the year.
The film has the full support of Bowie’s estate and features many of his greatest songs, as well as previously unseen concert footage.
