Put this on the Chrissy Dessert Menu: Baileys’ New ‘Summer Berry Pavlova’
No dessert says ‘Australian Christmas’ more than a trusty Pavlova. The dessert took its name from famed Russian ballerina, Anna Pavlova, who toured Australia and New Zealand in 1926.
Whilst in NZ, a chef at a Wellington hotel created a dessert in tribute to the ballerina; the billowing shape of the dessert inspired by her tutu.
But enough history, lets talk progress!
Irish Cream specialists, Baileys, have released a Limited Edition Baileys Summer Berry Pavlova – which tastes like a good pav would in luscious liquid form!
Textures of creamy merangue and sweet berries swirl around the tongue, as though you’ve just been given a taste of the latest invention by Willy Wonka himself.
If last year was all about Baileys’ Apple Pie flavoured Irish cream, this year we know what we’ll be serving come dessert-time.
Antonino Tati
RRP: $33.95.
STOCKIST: Dan Murphy’s and other good liquor outlets.
TIP: Sneak in a drop of Baileys Pavlova when making the cream in this Chrissy Pavlova recipe.
