Basement Jaxx & Roger Sanchez returning to Oz to play an exciting double headline show
Electronic music duo Basement Jaxx are finally making their way to Melbourne for their highly anticipated (and rescheduled) DJ tour this April. But because you’ve all been patient and waiting, it’s been announced that they’ll be joined by house music icon Roger Sanchez.
Yes, you read right. Basement Jaxx and Roger Sanchez will double headline in a show at the Timber Yard, Port Melbourne on Sunday April 9 (Easter Long Weekend, with more shows possibly being announced).
Widely respected as one of the world’s most legendary house duos, Basement Jaxx have been global crowd favourites for more than two decades. Following their sold-out ‘Orchestrated’ shows in 2019, the award-winning duo will return to Oz to play hits including Where’s Your Head At, Red Alert, Romeo, Good Luck and a heap of current house anthems.
Roger Sanchez, a self-made music man himself, will perform hits including Another Chance, You Can’t Change Me, Turn on the Music, and (hopefully) some of his utterly brilliant mixes of tracks by Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Daft Punk, Jamiroquai, Depeche Mode, Alicia Keys, etcetera.
