THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

Beatles fans rejoice: a bunch of awesome new and remastered releases arriving this quarter

Fans of the Beatles will be very happy to learn that coming this October is a bunch of awesome reissues and new media about the band.

To begin with there is the release of the remastered Anthology Collection – a unique insight into the early development of The Beatles’ most iconic songs, told through the lens of the band.

Arriving alongside 2025 remasters of Anthology volumes 1-3 by Giles Martin is Anthology 4 — a brand new volume featuring 13 previously-unreleased tracks.

Glimpse into the recording process of iconic songs like While My Guitar Gently Weeps, In My Life & Nowhere Man, and also experience the stunning 2025 mixes of Free As A Bird & Real Love.

Both singles’ new mixes have been placed alongside the band’s most recent UK number one single, Now And Then, the last Beatles song. All three singles were created from rudimentary home demos John recorded in the 1970s, later completed with vocal and instrumental parts recorded by Paul, George and Ringo.

Across all the Anthology albums, there are 191 tracks, and the package in its entirity will be released on November 21 by Apple Corps Ltd/Capitol/UMG  for digital purchase and streaming, and in deluxe 12LP 180-gram vinyl and 8CD box sets.

Both box sets include the original sleeve notes for volumes 1, 2 and 3; the new volume 4 includes track notes written by Kevin Howlett and an introduction compiled from 1996 interviews recorded with The Beatles’ close friend and adviser Derek Taylor. The Beatles Store’s exclusive editions for both box sets add four 12-inch band photo art cards in a numbered envelope.

Now, if all that’s not enough, there are some visual feasts for fans to enjoy, too. The 25th anniversary edition of The Beatles Anthology book launches October 14th, and includes intimate and revelatory recollections of the band’s journey from the very lips of John, Paul, George and Ringo. The 368-page book, already a bestseller, is beautifully illustrated and contains over 1,300 photos, reproduced documents and other memorabilia.

Plus, plus, plus there’s the Anthology documentary that will now be seen as a streaming series on Disney+.  The first three episodes of the remastered and expanded doco series will begin streaming from November 26. And, no, we haven’t seen it all before because the revised documentary includes an episode nine which features unseen behind-the-scenes footage of Paul, George and Ringo coming together between 1994 and 1995 to work on ‘The Anthology’ and reflecting on their shared life as the Beatles.

So, lots and lots to excited about, comin from the dusted-off archives of (inarguably) the best band in all of music history.
