The fastest and most effective natural way to remove shower mould is to use undiluted white vinegar or a combination of vinegar, baking soda, and tea tree oil. Unlike bleach, which only hides mould by whitening it, vinegar penetrates porous surfaces (like grout) to kill the root of the mould.

If you’re still using classic incandescent light bulbs, when you move from room to room, try to switch the light off in the room you are leaving (assuming others aren’t in there). This is not only good stretching exercise but is saving energy. Careful though – if fluorescent or halogen lights are being switched on and off, that actually uses up more energy. So just your typical incandescent bulbs.
