How low can you go?
Barely 24 hours after her arrival back in Australia, and the rumour-mills have it that Schapelle Corby could be a potential contestant on Channel 10’s dating show, The Bachelorette, in 2018.
Social media has already gone full steam ahead in running with this story, with Twitter abuzz with #Bachelorette #Schappelle.
Whether Schapelle Corby’s next career move is reality TV is yet to be seen, but, judging by her bizarre celebrity-style arrival in Australia only last week, it seems likely we haven’t seen the last of her on our screens.
If social media is anything to go by, the public still wants more Schapelle. In less than a week, she has already amassed an incredible 170,000 followers on Instagram.
With this sort of interest, maintaining a media profile rather than a low profile seems to be the strategy. And not one to miss a trick, Channel 10 might just be the perfect place for her to lower herself back into society. Chris Prindiville
Note: In the meantime, you’ll just have to make do with reading up on the girl in the biography, ‘Schapelle, The Final Chapter: Coming Home’ by Tony Wilson, published through New Holland Publishing.
