While we always knew creepy Bill Skarsgård would be reprising his role as freak-clown Pennywise in It: Chapter 2, we’ve been racking our brains trying to figure out who’ll be filling the shoes of ‘The Losers Club’ adults in the movie.
Warner Bros. Studios recently revealed the first full cast photo from the film, and it features a pretty stellar cast.
Jessica Chastain will play go-getting redhead Beverly Marsh. Bill Hader is bespectacled Richie Tozier. James Ransone is stuttering Eddie Kaspbrak. James McAvoy is Bill Denbrough. While Jay Ryan plays Ben Hanscom, Isaiah Mustafa is Mike Hanlon, and Andy Bean is Stanley Uris.
The cast photograph was posted on It Movie’s official Twitter account yesterday, and it looks like the actors are having quite a bit of fun in kicking off the sequel’s summer production schedule. (Actually, it kind of looks like they’re posing for a postmodern version of the Last Supper).
It: Chapter 2 takes place 27 years after the first chapter, when evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine.
A scary phone call brings the characters – who’ve long since gone their separate ways – together as adults, battling to put Pennywise into the ground once and for all.
The film is slated for international release on September 6, 2019. Antonino Tati
