Forget the other sh*t shows… This one’s 100% Cher!
For six straight decades, the unstoppable force that is Cher has been prominent in pop culture. Enough so that folks of all generations would be familiar with the woman, whereas if you asked them about, say, Tom Jones or Cyndi Lauper, some might say ‘Who?’.
After receiving accolades for making great music, performing well on film, even on stage, Cher has her own musical. The production premiered at the Oriental Theatre, Chicago, in June 2018, then opened on Broadway in December. Soon it’s London’s turn, and what better way to celebrate than by releasing the original Broadway Cast Recording?
‘The Cher Show’ features 35 smash hits, six decades of stardom, two rock-star husbands, a Grammy, an Oscar, an Emmy, and enough Bob Mackie gowns to cause a sequins shortage.
The show is sure to continue running through 2019, and may even make it to Australia by the time Mardi Gras swings ’round. In the meantime, fans can tune into the cast recording, available on pre-order April 5th, 2019.

The digital release date of ‘The Cher Show: Original Broadway Cast Recording’ will be officially available April 12th and the physical release date slated for May 10th, 2019.
