Microsoft hires an Aussie guy named Mac Book to promote its new laptop, taking the mickey out of Apple Mac
Tech giant Microsoft has hired a guy named Mac Book (his real name) to feature in their current ad campaign. And he’s Australian!
The ad is a revenge tactic of sorts, with Microsoft getting back at Apple for saying (ten years ago) that PCs were boring.
Yep, Microsoft did a search and discovered a real Mackenzie Book down under and so invited him to promote the brand’s Surface 2 laptop computers.
The ad sees Mac Book being asked questions about which laptop is faster and lasts longer, the winner coming out top being Microsoft’s Surface 2, of course.
