Lego release a set of ‘Friends’ characters to commemorate the show’s 25th anniversary
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of television comedy series, Friends, Lego have taken it upon themselves to create little versions of the show’s main characters.
The Lego mini-figures depict Ross Geller, Rachel Green (complete with that ‘Rachel haircut’), Chandler Bing (cue cocked eyebrow), Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani, and Phoebe Buffay. Heck, there’s even a Gunther figurine!
All up, there are more than 1,000 pieces, making it a pretty intricate Lego/TV tribute.
The complete set comes with a Central Perk coffee shop, seemingly copied brick by brick and including, of course, that infamous orange couch.
There’s a stack of other surprises for fans to enjoy and accessories to boot such as Phoebe’s ubiquitous guitar, Ross’s snazzy keyboard, Rachel’s serving tray, Monica’s muffin, Joey’s man bag, and Chandler’s laptop.
All up, there are more than 1,000 pieces, making it a pretty intricate Lego/TV tribute.
Take that Stranger Things.
