Supermarket director has message for dude who stockpiled $10k worth of toilet paper + sanitiser: Up yours!!
An idiot in Adelaide has been denied a refund on massive amounts of toilet paper and hand sanitiser after not being able to spruik these online.
The Adelaide man, who remains unnamed, demanded a full refund on 150 packets of 32-roll toilet paper and 150 bottles of 1-litre hand sanitiser, equating a total of $10,000.
“I had my first customer yesterday who wanted a refund [for that amount],” says John-Paul Drake, director of Drakes Supermarkets, who denied the greedy prick a return of his money.
Instead, Drake went on to give the loo paper stockpiler the middle finger.
“That’s the sort of person causing the problem around the whole country,” says the supermarket director, adding: “The scenes everyone’s seen with toilet paper [stockpiling] have been absolutely ridiculous.”
What’s sure to look even more ridiculous is the sad state of said stockpiler’s garage or storage cupboard, sure to be packed to the brim in stuff he won’t be getting rid of in quite a while. And why? Because of internet bans on sales of ‘essential’ goods in bulk.
Better luck next time, shit-head.
