WA foodie event Truffle Kerfuffle cancelled due to Covid crisis
The tenth edition of Truffle Kerfuffle has been deferred until 2021 and will not be taking place in June 2020 as planned.
The decision to cancel this year’s event is based on the Federal Government’s ban of non-essential mass gatherings, as well as intrastate, interstate and international travel restrictions.
The decision to defer the event was not taken lightly. After extensive consultation and deliberation by the Board and key stakeholders, alternative dates were explored but they just weren’t feasible.
Truffle lovers can take heart knowing that they can still get their delectable fix of alluring truffles during the season (from May to August) by ordering direct from truffle farmers, as well as stunning Southern Forests produce and wine direct from wineries.
