Burger King in Germany maintains its social distancing with these giant munty crowns…
Fast food service restrictions in Europe have been fairly stringent. While in Australia you could order your Whopper with fries via drive-thru, and that’s throughout all of this Covid pandemic, in Europe fast food outlets shut shop completely.
But now they’ve opened up again.
But to ensure social distancing, Burger King in Germany has created giant cardboard crowns for customers to wear, guaranteeing they’ll stay apart from one another for at least 1.5 metres (indeed the crowns are that long in diameter!).
“We wanted to reinforce the rules of high safety and hygiene standards that BK restaurants are following,” a spokesperson for the brand told Business Insider.
And so they have; though their customers do look like maniacal mariachi…
