McDonald’s Austria turns trash into swimming togs

While there are many fast-food chains jumping on the eco bandwagon and having gotten rid of plastic straws, McDonald’s in Austria jumps one step further.

Maccas Austria has taken all the straws it had in stock and combined these with recycled bits of plastic that would otherwise have littered our oceans and turned them into… fabulous swimwear!

The swimwear range sees pieces for him and her available in McDonald’s iconic yellow and red stripes and, yes, you’d probably want to cut down your burger intake if you’re looking to fit into them.
