Crown Theatre set to shake to the sounds of jukebox musical ‘We Will Rock You’

It’s been quiet in theatres of late, what with the chaos and restrictions brought on by Covid.

But things are set to get exciting again and – as Queen singer Freddie Mercury sang- the show must go on.

After months of darkened venues and empty stages, Crown Theatre Perth is proud to present the jukebox musical, We Will Rock You, featuring the music of British rock legends, Queen,  with script and book by Ben Elton.

‘We Will Rock You’ tells the story of planet Earth 300 years in the future where society exists under an Orwellian regime designed to ensure that everyone looks and acts the same. 

Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan plays the lead role Killer Queen after fronting successful seasons in Sydney and Melbourne, and will perform alongside a cast of talented West Australians including Matt Dyktynski, Jamie Mercanti (aka Slim Jim), and Paula Parore.

We Will Rock You rocks the Crown stage from  October 30.
