Kim Kardashian announces ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ is ending after its 20th season: the world’s intelligentsia sighs in unison
Kim Kardashian has announced on Instagram that successful reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians will end this year on its 20th season.
Kim, her sisters, and “momager” Kris have said they are done with the E! show, which lasted a whopping 14 years (yes, the math doesn’t quite make sense but then neither have many of the Kardashians).
“It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” wrote Kim in an Insta post last night.
“After … hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”
Kim went on to thank “the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience” and gave particular praise to television host Ryan Seacrest “for believing in us”.
There was no official reason for the show ending – although 20 seasons makes for an exhaustive innings, especially in the fickle world of reality TV.
Suffice to say, we’re pretty sure each Kardashian will have a host of mind-numbing activities on the boiler to appease their millions of fans.

The final season of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ will air in early 2021.
