Ministry of Sound to celebrate 30 years of music with a mammoth warehouse party in Sydney

Imagine a three-night warehouse party where 70 DJs rotate to play three decades of music. That’s what Ministry of Sound: Testament is setting out to create for fans and followers of all genres of dance music.
Its full title Ministry of Sound: Testament – A Warehouse Experience, the event is in celebration of Ministry of Sound’s 30th birthday and will be held from Friday 11th June to Sunday 13th June, 2021.
Featured will be some of Australia’s best DJs across all genres of dance, club and rave music.
Night one on Friday, 11th will deliver the best in 90s house, trance, garage, prog and rave anthems, with Groove Terminator, John Course, Nick Law, Simon Caldwell and more taking over the house room; Sugar Ray, Phil Smart, Jade, Ming D and Abel paying homage to rave; Anthony Pappa, Robbie Lowe, Mark Dynamix and John Ferris holding down the prog and trance room; plus a garage room hosted by Garage Pressure.

Night two on Saturday, 12th delves into the best of 2000s house, electro and breaks with Tonite Only, Goodwill, John Course and Minx in the house room; Bag Raiders, K.I.M. (The Presets, DJ Set), Jaime Doom and Van She Tech delivering the best of electro; and Kid Kenobi, Poxymusic, Skool of Thought and more in the breaks room.
Night three on Sunday, 13th will showcase the best of today’s dance and electronic artists including Australian dance music royalty PNAU, world-conquering Anna Lunoe, Crooked Colours (DJ set), Yolanda Be Cool and Kilter. Renowned Sydney party collective Motorik will host the techno room with special guest DJ HMC; and Generik, Ember, A-Tonez and more will deliver the biggest EDM and big room anthems of the past decade.
All three nights of Testament – a part of the Sydney Solstice Festival – will deliver a multi-room, immersive journey through the best of dance music from The 90s, 2000s and now. Held in the heritage Campbell’s Stores in The Rocks, Sydney is set to come alive over the long weekend as part of the Sydney Solstice.
Says Tim McGee, CEO of TMRW Music (and previously CEO of Ministry of Sound Australia), “Having started off working as a DJ and promoter in the rave scene in the early 90s, throwing a warehouse party in Sydney again is a full circle moment for me. I feel like this event is an amazing part of the great awakening of Sydney nightlife and the electronic music scene.”
Club, rave and dance music fans will not be disappointed.
Pre-sale tickets for Ministry of Sound: Testament – A Warehouse Experience will go on sale on Tuesday 18th June at 9am AEST, with general tickets on sale at 9am AEST on Wednesday, 19th June.
