A cool blend of contemporary & retro culture

Government promise is music to our ears…

You can expect to hear a lot more output from Australian music artists over the next few years thanks to a commitment by the NSW government of over $100 million.

Vote Music is a campaign that was launched last month, supported in full by NSW Labor and backed up with a $103m commitment ahead of the election.

This landmark investment will be almost three times the largest ever pledge to music on a state level, and the largest investment ever in contemporary music in Australia.

While the commitment is targeted at the NSW music industry, there will be benefit to artists outside of NSW in the form of more and better funded venues for them to play at.

The Vote Music coalition looks forward to working closely with Premier-elect Chris Minns and the newly elected NSW Labor Government on making their plan a reality.

Artists, venues, festivals, promoters, ticketing companies, industry organisations, music media and even small bars all backed the campaign, making it an impressive and powerful display of industry unity and coordination.
