THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

Finding just the right mix of great music, mad ads and the oddest of documentaries… and you didn’t even know you needed it!

Found Objects is a Cream magazine remixing project that blends the worlds of dance music and art. Cream founding editor and audio artist Antonino Tati trawls the web to find the coolest of backing tracks, campest of documentaries, fun film quotes, and maddest retro ads – layering words of wit (and occasional dimwittedness) over killer remixes.

The aural Easter eggs abound on these recordings. Volume One (pictured top of article) includes remixes of songs by Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Darren Hayes, Suede, Eurythmics, Thomas Dolby, George Michael, and Pet Shop Boys, while Volume Two (look for the turf) includes brilliant reworkings of brilliant songs by Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Soulwax, Les Rythmes Digitales, The Motels, Fleetwood Mac, Malcolm McLaren, R.E.M. and David Bowie.

Keep your eyes (and ears) open throughout the site to stream free MP3s of remixed tracks over coming weeks.
