Leo DiCaprio shares sneak look at Tarantino flick about the Manson murders
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood might sound like a quaint title for a movie, but Quentin Tarantino’s star-studded drama will be anything but quaint.
The film, which centres around the Manson Family murders is being touted as one of next year’s biggest cinematic hits. And the cast is absolutely massive.
Leonardo DiCaprio, who shared the snazzy pic, above, on his Instagram feed, will play former TV idol Rick Dalton. Brad Pitt will play his sidekick and stunt double Cliff Booth. Al Pacino will play Dalton’s agent. Margot Robbie will play Dalton’s neighbour – who happens to be Sharon Tate. And there you have your four degrees of separation to the murdering Manson Family.
The ensemble cast also includes James Marsden, Timothy Olyphant, Burt Reynolds, Damian Lewis, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, Nicholas Hammond, and Riverdale’s Luke Perry.
In what is sure to be no mere coincidence, the film is being released on August 9, 2019 – which marks the 50th anniversary of the Manson murders and the day after Tate was killed at the hands of Charles Manson’s followers.
Creepy much? Antonino Tati
