Once Upon A Time in Hollywood: where glamour meets gore

Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’.
For a movie about a murdering cult, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is so far looking quite the glamorous flick.
Aside from its quaint title, the cast images seen so far ooze retro chic. Like Margot Robbie looking hell slick, dressed as 60s model-come-actress Sharon Tate.
Sharon Tate, who was the wife of director Roman Polanski, was pregnant when she was killed at the hands of the Manson family, which the film hones in on.
Already touted as one of 2019’s biggest box office hits, the cast of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood boasts Leonardo DiCaprio as former TV idol Rick Dalton, Brad Pitt as his sidekick and stunt double Cliff Booth, Al Pacino as Dalton’s agent, plus cameo turns courtesy of Timothy Olyphant, James Marsden, Burt Reynolds, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins, and even Riverdale’s Luke Perry.
In what is surely no mere coincidence, the film is being released on August 9, 2019 – that is on the 50th anniversary of the Manson murders and the day after Tate was killed at the hands of Charles Manson’s followers.
Yep, clever public relations can be creepy at times. Antonino Tati

Now comes his biggest psychotic role yet, playing Charles Manson in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. […]
