See Greta Thunberg’s confronting eco-conscious ad ‘Our House is on Fire’
Swedish activist Greta Thunberg began her ‘Fridays For Future’ (‘FFF’) movement in 2018 when she started protesting in front of the Swedish Parliament at the end of each working week.
Soon she became known internationally and continues to influence folks, both young and old alike, to remain conscious of the plight of the earth and to help stop environmental destruction.
This week, FFF unveiled a confronting advertisement just in time for Earth Day – as a reminder that catastrophe continues to happen in our ‘home’, that is Earth itself, as we go on with our day-to-day lives.
The ad shows a typical family going about their morning – preparing breakfast, brushing their teeth, heading to school – all the while oblivious to the fact their house is burning down.
