As well as masturbating over the desk of a female staffer, it is alleged that the Parliament House prayer and mediation room was commonly used by politicians for sex. The insider himself admitted to using the room for sexual escapades.

He told Ten News, “I can probably say there is very little meditation or prayer going on in that room.”

These latest cases of sexual misconduct follow on from other sex-related issues within parliament, most notably the government’s mishandling of Brittany Higgins’ allegations of sexual assault.
